Nicholas Sheran to host My 1st Ride event on Aug. 26

The Third Annual My 1st First Ride event hosted by Lethbridge School Division, Holy Spirit Catholic School Division and Southland Transportation, is coming up later this month.
On Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Southland Transportation Ltd. will give students an opportunity to learn all about school bus safety and protocol, as we prepare for the new year.
My 1st Ride, A Free School Bus Safety Program for First-Time Riders and Parents, will include a short presentation for students and parents, along with a short ride on a bus to learn the ins and outs of the daily school bus routine.
Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and ice cream treats will be available.
Everything will be happening at Nicholas Sheran Elementary School, located at 380 Laval Blvd. W.
